School Tornado background
School tornado is a book, that me and some of my friends made. We made it in media class. We got inspired by reading Knuffle Bunny. How we did it: First, we practiced drawing our cartoon selves on paper, by hand. We wrote the first story on a piece of paper, and drew little sketches what the pictures would look like. We went around taking pictures in the places where our stories took place. We put them on the computer, turned them black and white, drew over top of them with our characters, and typed up the story on power point, and inserted our pictures. It was a lot of fun!
Famous African Americans
We researched famous African Americans, and we got to choose one we wanted to research. I chose Bill Cosby, and I learned so much about him! Some of the facts I learned is that he was a long-time pitchman for Jell-O pudding. He also dropped out of college to join the Navy, and he got pulled back in tenth grade. Here is my script:
The Revolutionary War
We did a little project as we were learning about the Massacre, Boston Tea Party, French and Indian War, etc. We made a newspaper like we were in that time range. Here is mine!
